The District Social Welfare Officer cum Member Secretary, Transgender Justice Board, West Jaintia Hills has informed that the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has recently rolled out a new portal for the transgender persons at http://transgender.dosje.gov.in. The transgender individuals can now easily obtain certificates and ID Cards and also access various government services through the portal.
