SHILLONG:
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Kongkal Sangma was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Shillong today after being diagnosed with Scrub Typhus and Typhoid. He had been experiencing high fever and severe illness since August 22 and was initially treated at home.
However, due to persistent fever, he was hospitalized today for further treatment and monitoring. Senior specialists at the Civil Hospital are providing medication and closely observing his condition.
Although Chief Minister Sangma is still experiencing severe symptoms of these climate-related illnesses, his vital signs are within a normal range. He is receiving constant supervision and treatment from the medical team.
