The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat in a press release issued has declared the 15th August, 2024 as “Dry Day” in the
entire East Jaintia Hills District, on account of “Independence Day”.
All Wholesalers, IMFL retailers, Bars, Canteens and Out-stills shall remain closed on the above- mentioned date.
Any violation of the order will be viewed seriously, added the order of the Deputy Commissioner.
