Scooty rider killed in road accident
LUMSHNONG:
A man identified as Edmund Nongtdu (around 32-34 years old) died in an accident that take place at Lumshnong village just after crossing Lumshnong Toll Plaza on Tuesday afternoon. He originally hailed from Khlihriat, East Jaintia Hills District.
Late Nongtdu was riding a Scooty coming from Khliehriat side and proceeding to his wife village, Tongseng when he hit a Damper truck. The truck hit him on the head and died on the spot.
The deceased body was taken over by Lumshnong Police and was send to Khliehriat District Hospital for Autopsy
